​​​Winner of Miss Burlesque Victoria 2013, Becky Lou has been starting fires in Australia's pants since her debut with Perth's renowned Sugar Blue Burlesque troupe. Leaping in to Melbourne's thriving performance scene, she quickly won hearts with her combination of smouldering classic tease and irreverent comedy.



She has been part of many of Australia's most memorable burlesque events, including Gorelesque, The Australian Burlesque Festival, Perth Burlesque Festival, Red Bennies' 'Nude' and The Big Band Burlesque Show.



Becky Lou was a resident performer at Fitzroy's much loved Burlesque Bar. It was during her time here that she earnt her chops as a striptease artist and became one of the most in demand performers at the height of Australia's burlesque revival. She was awarded the Australian burlesque industry voted 'People's Choice - Victoria' at the 2013 Bustie Awards and included in 21st Century Burlesque Magazine's list of Top 10 Australian Burlesque Personalities.

 

In 2012, she produced and performed in the neo-burlesque show 'Sex Pest' for the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals with her company, Precious Gift Burlesque. This year she produced Melbourne's only Dixie Evans Week fundraiser show and will be announcing more projects as producer and director in 2014.

 

Becky Lou has recenty returned from her first tour to the USA, performing in The New Orleans and New York Burlesque Festivals.

She will be touring to the Perth and Adelaide Fringe Festivals in early 2014. Stay tuned for Fringe show announcements!
